Things I've learned today.  It sounds cool under water when you float.  I love the lazy river.  Especially when I close my eyes.  It's chilly in the shade when you're wet.  Fun day at City Park Pool.

In a twist on the traditional voting booth, the county courthouse had a big tent housing the ballot drop-off box.  Very cute.

Movie day!  Saw "Salt" with Angelina Jolie.  I liked the first half, but it got confusing (which was part of the point, I think) and after a while I just didn't care anymore who was on whose side.  I just wanted it to be over ;)

christmas gifts

Started a few papercrafting projects for Christmas gifts.  Pleased that I'm planning ahead :)

monarchy kick

I seem to be on a British monarchy kick.  After my recent viewings of Elizabeth I (the virgin queen) and II (the golden years); and The Young Victoria - tonight's lineup includes The Queen and The Other Boelyn Girl.  God Save The Queen!

And to think I complained about the high cost of prescriptions.  Still meeting my deductible, and this one is $478.  Yeah, almost a half a grand.  Cheaper than being hospitalized, I guess.  Gotta be close to that deductible.

Too much time on my hands when I turn to vacuuming and steam cleaning.  Yikes!

Finally got the shadow box contents arranged.  One of the frame corners is pulling apart, so I'll have to ask the house craftsman to help fix it and hang it.  Can't believe it's been around three months since the half marathon!
